ABOUT US
Whether it is a high-density tailings transport line, a long-distance concentrate pipeline, or a hydraulic ore hoisting from an underground mine, the team at A-Cru has the experience, capability and motivation to support mining clients in achieving the right solution that adds value to their operations.
Our team has been directly responsible for the successful design of hundreds of kilometres of slurry pipeline systems throughout the world.
We are here to help!
OUR VISION
To become the leading Australian specialist in developing safe and cost-effective slurry transport solutions for the mining industry.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
Joe has been involved in a wide range of slurry processing and pipeline projects. His experience ranges from slurry test work to high-level studies and detailed designs, mostly on projects in Australia, Asia and South America. This provided Joe with first-hand experience in and knowledge of the procedures used to test the rheological and material properties of a variety of slurries, including tailings, feed ore, and product from iron, copper, lithium and gold mines. Joe’s experience in the hydraulic/process design for slurry pipeline systems also includes concentrate lines through to high-density/high-rheology tailings systems.
Jason is Metallurgist (BSc Met. 1996), managing director of Fremantle Metallurgy and JV partner of A-Cru, bringing his +25 years of experience in extractive metallurgy, processing plants and slurry test work into the team. Jason’s background in the mining industry includes various roles in the areas of equipment sizing/design, installation/commissioning, and process plant development/implementation.
Andres is a mechanical engineer with more than 20 years of experience in mechanical, process, piping, and slurry pipeline engineering. Before joining A-Cru, Andres was the founding director of Paterson & Cooke Australia (slurry transport consultants), holding the role of Managing Director and Principal Engineer from 2012 to 2021. His experience in the development of high-pressure/long-distance overland pipeline covers a variety of tailings and concentrates across a wide range of commodities.
